Robert Buethe is a senior partner in Martin, Blanck & Associates. Dr. Buethe is a Physician Executive and former Chief Flight Surgeon, who has provided healthcare and executive healthcare management in both federal and commercial settings for 30 years. He served as the Acting Surgeon General (CEO) and Deputy Surgeon General (Senior Vice-President and COO) of the United States Air Force Medical Service. In these capacities, he was responsible for all aspects of the operation, funding training and manning of 87 medical treatment facilities with 52,000 personnel. He directed the divisions of Manpower, Budget, Professional Policies, Health Care Administration and Medical Readiness.
Most recently, Dr. Buethe served as the general manager and medical director of a major medical center in the United Arab Emirates, where he was responsible for all areas of healthcare delivery and the supervision of healthcare training programs.
Additional Qualifications:
Dr. Buethe held the following corporate level management positions in the United States and Europe: President and Chief Operating Officer of Medical Information Management Systems, Inc. of Nashville, TN, a provider of medical software for the digital medical record and billing systems; and Chief Medical Advisor of Litton/PRC of McLean, Virginia, a large federal systems integrator. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Beloit College and a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University.
